In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn basic wheel-throwing techniques to try their hand at the pottery wheel. Participants will be given three 1-pound balls of clay to learn to cone and center clay, pull up walls, shape, and finish up to three pots. Results aren’t guaranteed, but you can expect to have a hands-on learning experience in this mini crash-course on wheel throwing.

June 27, 2026

2:00–4:00 pm OR 5:00–7:00 pm

In this beginner-friendly hybrid workshop, you’ll learn how to create a custom set of colorful coasters, starting with handbuilding and optionally using the wheel to complete your surface design.
