SEARS WINTER MARKET

LIVE MUSIC & INTERACTIVE ART

MUSIC & ART

The Columbus Area Arts Council brings a creative spark to the SEARS Winter Market. Each week features a full lineup of live entertainment curated by local musician John Heichelbech. Stop by or stay awhile at our stage in the beer garden area.

Visit CAAC's Art Booth to experience the rotating art installation and create something new with hands-on activities led by local artists. Creativity thrives here all season long.

The SEARS Winter Market is in partnership with The Office of Downtown Development (ODD).

INTERACTIVE ART

Pattern Play Ornaments with Jess Novitski

Discover the joy of pattern and play with artist Jess Novitski at the Winter Market. Jess invites visitors to explore color, repetition, and the beauty of traditional tessellations while watching her large-scale pieces come to life. Then jump in and create your own ornament using a variety of vibrant shapes she provides. It’s a simple, hands-on moment of creativity for all ages.

Sea-through paper art installation by Clover Childers

Step into an immersive world created by local artist Clover Childers. A floating school of hand-cut paper fish surrounds you, gently shifting and swaying to cast soft, moving shadows that invite a quiet moment of wonder. (See image)
