Southern Indiana creatives – brainstorm, plan, and jumpstart your creative business in this free workshop!
Join the Columbus Area Arts Council and Velocities’ Dan Nash for a day of learning and networking to accelerate your creative business!
What to expect
Dan will present on key business topics to help you develop your small business, grow your audience, and move up to the Next Level:
Using the "Build–Measure–Learn" framework, share your perspectives on the why, how, and what of your business, and create guiding questions to shape your journey throughout the day.
Create a 1-page visual business plan to guide your business' growth. When you're ready, practice pitching your ideas to peers for helpful feedback.
Consider customer discovery, validation, and growth, then use the "Build–Measure–Learn" framework to refine your business plan.
Learn about options available as your business grows—consulting, brick & mortar, lifestyle—and how these opportunities fit into the life and company you want to build.
The day will also feature a panel organized by the Columbus Design Institute, where creative entrepreneurs and practitioners will discuss experiences in the field and share practical advice for success in the field.
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for all attendees. Please indicate any dietary restrictions or accessibility accommodations necessary on the Eventbrite registration. Contact CAAC at email@example.com or 812-376-2539 with any questions.
