In Praise of Sorrows by MRTC - the world premiere of Nicole Cunningham’s (MRTC) original work: a staged reading and poignant tale spanning generations, starting with a pivotal wedding in 1926 that sets off a chain of troubling events for an immigrant farming family

Sassafras Tea Festival - A cultural festival featuring performing arts with traditional music, fresh-baked goods and foods from the mid-1800’s (including Sassafras Tea!), tours of Underground Railroad sites, a working Blacksmith Shop, and demonstrations of traditional arts
