Out Side Film Festival Returns to YES Cinema
The 2nd Annual Out Side Film Festival returns to Columbus on February 5, 2011. The festival will be held at YES Cinema at 4th and Jackson Streets.
The Out Side Film Festival is the first film festival in Columbus, Indiana, to exclusively feature films from, about and for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community.
Produced by Pride Alliance Columbus, the festival includes a diverse selection of independent films, short films, documentaries as well as feature length movies. Some are foreign films with subtitles, but most of the selections will be in English.
“The films selected for the festival have an entertainment and educational value that appeal to everyone,” said Stephen Dunning of the Pride Alliance Columbus. “Audiences, including high school and university students, who love indie films or documentaries will enjoy this festival.”
Individual movie tickets will be available along with discounted half-day and full-day passes. Advanced tickets can be purchased at YES Cinema (812-378-0377) or at Viewpoint Books (812-376-0778). Tickets may also be purchased at the door during the festival. If you would like additional information about the festival, contact us at info@outsidefilmfest.com.
