COLUMBUS MURAL PROJECT :: SUMMER 2005 MURAL

                      Breakthrough

  Location: Along the People Trail under the 10th Street Bridge

  Artist Catherine Burris worked with a total of twelve young people throughout July and early August.  They researched graffiti art and the tradition of underground comic art, and looked at the use of symbols in art.  They began each day with visualization exercises to help stimulate creativity and openly discussed their opinions to encourage a sense of teamwork.
