COLUMBUS MURAL PROJECT :: SUMMER 2001 MURAL

Location: The Jolie Crider Memorial Skate Park, Clifty Park, Marr Rd. and Indiana Ave.

Dates: June 11-15, 2001 planning and design workshop followed by painting from July 30-August 10, 2001.

Artists Dante Ventresca (lead), Michelle Arvin, and Rebecca Hutton were assisted by 25 teens and 12 counselors from the Youth Services Center in addition to skaters, Parks Department and Arts Council staff, and community volunteers.  Three teens from the 2000 mural project came back to lend a hand.
